GTA 4 vs Iron Man

In the recent months there has been some debate regarding whether or not the release of Grand Theft Auto 4 was going to affect the ticket sales for the Iron Man film during it’s opening weekend.

Adam Sessler’s take on the issue is that the companies responsible for the film are simply trying to place blame on GTA in an attempt to anticipate poor success at the box office and that if the movie is good, people will see it regardless....

The Bridge to Terabithia is paved with awesome

Today I finally got my hands on a copy of The Bridge to Terabithia (TBtT), which I’d been dying to see for months (along with Pan’s Labyrinth), and before I even sat down to watch it I had my head filled with all sorts of preconceptions that it could be a complete and utter waste of time (think Lord of the Rings, which regardless of how nerdy you think are, is a pile of feces) and I was really praying that it would live up to some of my better expectations.

To my complete delight, TBtT is one of those films that really makes you think about things in your life (think Click or Stranger than Fiction, both excellent films), and the sort of changes you need to make....
